After India had its first female Indian Idol Sourabhee Debbarma in the fourth season of Indian Idol last year, this year it is again the League boys who took the stage. Twenty three years elderly Sreeram Chandra from Hyderabad has won the Indian Idol season two this Sunday (August 15). Competing with the Gujarati girl Bhoomi Trivedi , Agra boy Rakesh Maini, Sreeram won the title of Indian Idol. The grand finale was held at Filmistan Studio, & I saw Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan as the chief visitor. Bachchan was a disciple of religious reality TV, all thanks goes to the partner Jaya Bachchan, who loves to watch Indian Idol. Seeram has received the honor of Indian Idol by the actor. It was filled with a funds prize of Rs 50 lakh, a automobile, bicycle & motor one-year contract with Sony TV. Above all, they has a chance to sing life in a forthcoming Yash Raj production.

Sreeram was the crowd favourite & the judges one day. Along with his dedication & talent as a singer, they proved they was a versatile singer & the person most worthy of the title. Sreeram has already sung a few songs for Telugu films before entering Indian Idol. They even recorded a song with Shreya Ghosal composed by Salim-Suleman for a film to come before winning the reality show.
